Educational Visits

Throughout their time here at Oatlands Infant School, our children will go on a wide range of educational visits. They will take part in local walks, as well as bigger trips via train, bus, or coach. Most of these trips will be in full classes, however, sometimes have smaller trips for groups such as the School Council, Eco Council, singing club, and sports clubs.

Pupil Premium children are eligible for fully funded school trips. Please speak to the school office if you would like to know more about this.

We ask for a voluntary contribution towards trips, however there is absolutely no obligation to pay this. Our amazing PTA subsidise the cost of trips for all children, and we do our best to find affordable opportunities.

Children must wear school uniform on trips, as well as sensible footwear and coats.

We will often ask for parent and carer helpers for school trips. We will do our best to ensure that a good range of volunteers are selected, however there will be times when we are limited for numbers (e.g. coach seats, entry tickets) and we will not be able to take everyone.
