PTA Committee
To ensure the effectiveness of our PTA, we rely on the collective efforts of our entire school community. Every parent in the school is automatically a member of the PTA, but to fulfil legal requirements as a charity, we elect committee members. Presently, our committee comprises of:
Chair: Charlotte Anderson (Parent in Giraffes)
Treasurer: Catherine Marsh (Parent in Penguins)
Secretary: Ruth Mate (Parent in Owls)
Below, you'll find detailed descriptions of the roles within our committee:
Role of Chair/Vice Chair
Responsibilities include leading meetings, overseeing PTA activities, and fostering collaboration within the committee and with the wider school community.
Role of Treasurer
Duties involve managing finances, maintaining accurate records, and providing financial reports to the committee and school as needed.
Role of Secretary
Responsibilities include organizing meetings, keeping minutes, and handling correspondence on behalf of the PTA.
Class Reps
Additionally, each class has its own Class Representative(s) (this can be a shared role). The primary function of the Class Rep is to facilitate communication between the class and the PTA regarding events and meetings.
