• Opening of Harrogate Christmas Market

  Penguin Class were lucky enough to be chosen to visit the opening of Harrogate Christmas Market on 15th November 2018!  They even got to meet Santa!  Watch the video here:

  Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!

  A very big thank you to all our parents, carers, volunteers, staff, pupils and friends for making this a very successful year. We hope you all have a wonderful summer and wish all the children leaving us a happy move to their new schools and look forward to welcoming those who are returning on Tuesday 4th September. School starts at 8:55am.

• Unique Police Tractor visits

  One of our pupils, Thomas Williams of Golden Eagles, won a competition to have a unique police tractor – decked out with ‘blues and twos’, authentic police livery and called ‘Bobby’ visit the school this morning. The tractor has been loaned to North Yorkshire Police by Ripon Farm Services, to help increase police engagement with rural communities.

  

• Harrogate Racquets Club Visit

• Celebrating the Royal Wedding

  Today we all had lunch outside in our very own street party in celebration of the Royal Wedding tomorrow. The children made their own place mats, crowns and some of the bunting. Miss Agar, Mellors Catering
  Manager and her team put on a Royal Tea Party menu of sandwichs, quiche fingers, sausage rolls, carrot sticks, cucumber sticks and Victoria sponge cake.

  Congratulations to our Mixed Year 1/2 Football team who attended the finals at St John Fisher School and became joint winners with Pannal Primary School. Here they are in their new football strip kindly donated by Mr Port, father to Isabelle in Pandas.

  On Tuesday we entered two teams into the Harrogate School Sports Partnership competition and one of our teams has qualified for the final next week. We hope you will join us in congratulating both teams and wishing our finalists lots of luck.

• Year 1 visit York Chocolate Story

  On Monday Year 1 visited the Chocolate Story in York. The trip linked with the schools topic of Chocolate. They learnt about the history of chocolate, it’s close link with York and how to make it. The children took part in workshops where they made ‘chocolate wallpaper’ as well as a chocolate lollipops, and took part in York’s Chocolate Story Tour. They got to taste lots of different types of chocolate.
